Privacy Policy

Information you provide to us will only be used by EANGWV and our parent organization EANGUS. We collect personal information about you in order to compile our membership rosters and mailing lists.  We also collect information automatically about your visit to our website to allow us to monitor user preferences and to assist us in making website improvements. We process your information in order to carry out business related activities upon your instruction. You have the right to apply for a copy of information held by us about you in terms of the Data Protection Act 1998, as well as to have any of your information updated or corrected.

Payments/Membership Fees

The effective date for new memberships will be no earlier than the date and time of the creation of the membership account by the subscriber, and no later than the date and time which funds are received by EANGWV from the subscriber or any payment processing services used in the transaction. Certain methods of payment also incorporate a clearing period, including but not limited to personal checks. For payments made by these methods, the effective date will be no earlier than the date and time of the creation of the membership account by the subscriber, and no later than the date and time which funds are cleared. All fees paid are non-refundable. Any requests for refunds must be made in writing and EANGWV reserves sole discretion on the decision to grant or deny a refund.
Any online web payments will be processed via PayPal. PayPal is an electronic money service which allows you to make payment to anyone online. You can choose to pay using your credit card, debit card, bank account, or PayPal balance and make secure purchases without revealing your credit card number or financial information to EANGWV. By selecting an annual membership type and making an online payment via PayPal, you will be enrolled in our automatic renewal subscription program. You will be notified via email prior to expiration of your membership and your payment will be automatically processed through your PayPal account unless you elect otherwise. You can cancel your automatic renewal subscription at ANY TIME via your PayPal account. Lifetime membership payments are a one-time payment and members electing this option will not be enrolled in automatic renewal. Follow these instructions to cancel your automatic renewal subscription:

Log into PayPal

Click “History”

Select “Subscriptions” from the “Show:” drop-down box.

You may need to select a longer timeframe from the “For:” drop-down box if you have had your account longer than a month. Try selecting “Past Year”.

Press submit.

You should see an entry called “Subscription Creation” with “EANGWV” in the “Name/Email” column. There will be a link in the “Status” column that tells you the status of the subscription. If it says “Active”, click it.

Click the button that says “Cancel Subscription” and follow the remainder of the steps.

This will stop any future payments from being sent to EANGWV, but will not cancel your current membership or account. Upon expiration of your annual membership, you must manually renew your subscription either via PayPal or check/money order to remain in an active membership status.
