The Enlisted Association of the National Guard of West Virginia (EANGWV) and our parent organization the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) have but one mission–to provide a voice on Capitol Hill on enlisted National Guard issues. These issues affect not only National Guard but all reserve component members.
EANGUS is the largest enlisted reserve component association, and the only association that represents only National Guard enlisted men and women. EANGUS was created in 1970 by a group of senior noncommissioned officers from Mississippi and South Dakota. It was created by enlisted for enlisted. It was mainly created to give an enlisted voice on Capitol Hill. Today, EANGWV and EANGUS represent not only its paid membership, but all 414,000+ enlisted men and women of the Army and Air National Guard, their families, and retirees.
